By making your payment, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Rates

    Tasting Huron County Breakfast Table sample includes:

    • Two selections of pastries (one savoury, one sweet for two pieces per person)
    • One (1) variety of cheese
    • One (1) meat product
    • One (1) maple products
    • One (1) piece of fruit (varies depending on the season)
    • One (1) fresh pressed fruit juice (250 ml bottles)
    • Delivery within Huron County
    • Taxes
    • Donation to G2G Rail Trail $100.00
  2. Cancellation

    If you need to cancel a booking you must do so in writing via email and it will be effective from the date received. We will confirm your cancellation by email and the following cancellation policy will apply, regardless of the reason for cancellation:

    • Two selections of pastries (one savoury, one sweet for two pieces per person)
    • 20 or less than 20 days in advance – 100% non-refundable
    • More than 20 days in advance – refundable subject to a 25% service fee

    If Tasting Huron County needs to cancel the tour due to severe local weather, natural disasters, terrorist activity, fire, unforeseen disturbances, and similar conditions we will do our best to reschedule the experience. Nonetheless, you acknowledge that travelling and food services during a global pandemic such as COVID-19 are subject to risks, and you shall assume the risk if the tour is cancelled for COVID-19 or other circumstances beyond our control.

    As noted below, we recommend you consider and obtain such trip cancellation insurance as you deem appropriate in your particular circumstances.

  3. Third Party Service Providers

    While Tasting Huron County has curated the list of eating establishments and other third party service providers and has established agreements with them, Tasting Huron County is not responsible for the operation or conduct of such establishments and other third party service providers (including, for greater certainty, transportation).

    Tasting Huron County does not take any responsibility for any foods that may not agree with guests and/or potentially make them ill.

  4. Allergies

    Tasting Huron County cannot accommodate guests with severe or life-threatening allergies, including to nuts or seafood.

    All allergies and dietary restrictions must be communicated in advance.

    Tasting Huron County does not prepare or handle food and cannot guarantee that food preparation and handling has been done in an allergy-free manner. Accordingly, Tasting Huron County is not liable for any allergic reactions and the results thereof, including death or injury, even where it has been advised of allergies.

  5. Insurance

    All guests are responsible for obtaining their own travel and medical insurance. By making your payment you are confirming that you have all such travel and medical insurance as is appropriate in your circumstances.

  6. COVID-19 safety precautions

    Guests and Tasting Huron County representatives are required to wear masks for the entirety of their Tasting Huron County delivery.

    Tasting Huron County is not responsible for the transmission of any virus. You are responsible for your health and safety and we advise you to take such additional precautions in your circumstances. We do not recommend the experience for high-risk individuals.

  7. Assumption of Risks and Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

    You acknowledge that we are not responsible for your actions, the actions of others,or issues due to animals or the local surroundings of the tour (including, but not limited to, theft, vehicle accidents, animal or insect interactions, or uneven, unstable or slippery surfaces).

    You understand that by booking this experience you are assuming certain risks, including but not limited to those described above, and including negligence on the part of Tasting Huron County and its service providers. By booking this experience, you freely accept and fully assume all such risks, dangers and hazards and the possibility of personal injury, death, property damage and loss resulting therein.

    You waive any and all claims that you have or may in the future have against Tasting Huron County from any and all liability for any loss, damage, expense or injury, including death, that you may suffer or that your next of kin may suffer, as a result of your participation in a tour due to any cause whatsoever, including negligence, breach of contract, or breach of any statutory or other duty of care on the part of

    Tasting Huron County or its service providers, and further including the failure on their part to take reasonable steps to safeguard or protect you from the risks, dangers and hazards of participating in the tour.
